Volunteering with Kids
Sunday Evening Meetings
On Sundays, we host orientation meetings where you can meet other volunteers, reflect on past events, learn more about the work UCM is doing, and plan volunteering activities throughout the community.
Every Sunday at 8:30pm
8:00pm - 8:30pm (Social 1/2hr with snacks and conversation)
8:30pm - 9:30pm (Planning meeting)

Friday Fun
Volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club of Kalamazoo
Friday's are full of fun around the Boys and Girls Club of Kalamazoo. Whether you are making crafts, building relationships, or preparing a meal, there is much to do at the club. You will work approximately 6-8 Friday afternoons each semester. The volunteer hours you receive towards a required class or degree is nothing compared to the life changing experiences you will gain.

Peace House
Volunteering at Peace House
It is important for children to have quiet and peaceful spaces to learn and grow. Peace House provides that space. Work with local children, helping them with homework, reading, and craft making as you mentor them and set the stage for college. The Volunteer hours you receive towards a required class or degree is nothing compared to the life changing experiences you will gain.
